The Clayton Education Foundation is making a difference in the lives of Clayton students by helping advance the School District of Clayton’s culture of educational excellence. Since 2009, the Foundation has awarded more than $44,200 to support initiatives that help enhance the curriculum, beyond what tax dollars cover, to provide extraordinary learning experiences to all Clayton students, PK-12. This year, the Foundation will award up to $15,000 in grants for Clayton staff to provide students with innovative learning experiences, with a priority on grants that support the District’s strategic plan in all curricular areas. If the grant application addresses technology, an additional review is required by the District’s Chief Technology Officer, Jeff Puls. All applications addressing the purchase of software must have a signed copy of the District’s Technology Software Adoption Form. All applications addressing the purchase of hardware must have a signed copy of the District’s Technology Hardware Purchasing Form. These forms can be downloaded from the District’s website, under the business services - printable forms section.
Grant awardees will be required to submit an evaluation report including submission of project artifacts (photos, video, samples, testimonials, etc.), a financial report with all receipts and a narrative that describes results and challenges.
